I kind of don't want to tell y'all how great this place is. It was shared with me by a local so we checked out the Tiki Bar our first night in Key West to enjoy drinks and the sunset. Our bartender Jill was awesome, she took great care of us! We liked it so much we went back two more times. Their frozen concoctions are just what you need on a hot day...I tried a few. The view is perfect, their is ample seating, the drink prices are what you would expect. Located behind the Galleon condos...walk through the parking lot...take a left at the lobby... the Tiki bar seems to be enjoyed by tourist and local alike! *Shout out to Darlene D for the suggestion!

ENJOY THE SUNSET - ALL ARE WELCOME! I love visiting here for sunset. It is very relaxing. A nice place to catch your breath, sip on a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. PROS - - You don't have to stay at the Galleon to visit the Tiki Bar. Locals and visitors alike are welcome - Terrific live music guitarist not overpowering your conversation - Nice and hospitable bartenders - Beautiful brand new tiki bar right on the Gulf of Mexico - Grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the sunset on a lounge chair along the dock - One drink will kick your booty CONS - - This is a place to drink, not eat. Don't expect anything earth shattering. - Food served at the bar is provided in styrofoam take out boxes - No Stoli of any kind. Pinnacle O is available - Plastic cups, of course. SOP for outdoor, tiki pool atmosphere Age Range - All ages welcome - there is additional seating aside from the actual bar itself.

We stopped in there on the recommendation by a bartender at Sloppy Joe's. This place is a fantastic. Fun bartenders, fun crowd, live music, great views & an AMAZING spot to watch the sunset that isn't over crowded. Absolutely worth a stop to watch the sunset from their docks while sipping on a drink!

When my hubby and I visited here and watched the sunset more than a year ago, we made up our minds to finally move here (after many visits and much debate). Amazing view, great bartenders, and good music. We've lived here two months now and keep returning to our favorite place to watch sunset!

This place was good as far as being conveniently located at our resort. I am eager to see the improvements that the renovations will bring because I dont think that it got as much action as it could. And if you are ordering food here, be prepared for it to come out in styrofoam containers like you would be taking it away - because that's how it will come whether you are dining at one of the tables or not. Show me something better, Tiki Bar, and I will be back.

AVOID the food unless you want to waste your money. I tried them out for breakfast this morning, and it wasn't even worth me walking over there. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Hash Browns, Cuban Bread w/tomato & bacon, a cafe con leche, and the Mac & Cheese appetizers to go. It all came out to be about $28 total. COMPLETE RIP OFF The bartender was curteous, and was more than willing to start me off with a Bloody Mary if needed be! I chose to come here and try them out when they first opened in the morning instead, of dealing with the Sunset crowd to give them a wide open oppertunity to show me the 3 major things we all look for in a place to eat. 1) Value, 2) Customer Service, 3) Good Tasting Food..... They Failed at 2 out of the 3 of those, so this place gets the "AVOID IT" stamp from me.

Turkey Wrap and a Margarita, not a bad combination if you ask me =) They will deliver food to your room, or to you on the pool or deck. The sunset is beautiful and during the afternoon the sun is always out and allows for you to catch a great tan and soak up some beautiful sun after a long day or if you just want to work on covering up those tan lines ;-) .

This is the best place in Key West to watch the sunset, hands down. Do Mallory Square once to say you did it, then catch every other sunset here. Behind the Galleon Resort they have a tiki bar on the wharf down from the marina. It's empty, there's a bar, and you have a clear, uncrowded, and unobstructed view of the sunset over the water. Mallory Square's view is often of the sun setting on an island, with way too many people in the way. At the Galleon you can grab a drink, grab a lounge chair, and watch the sun set over the water. Take a walk along the marina beforehand (from A&B Lobster House entrance) to catch the giant Tarpon eating the chum from the returning sportfishing boats, then end up at the Galleon shortly before sunset to grab a drink. This is definitely a locals spot, as the marina/tour boat employees tend to congregate here. Usually only about a dozen people around total for the sunset, and a big area to hang out in.

obviously the good reviews are from the people who work or own Tiki Bar. The worst food I had.

Great place to watch the sunset! The bar faces the water and is unobstructed by Sunset Key, which makes it perfect for looking for the green flash. The only downside is the live music is entirely too loud. Other than that, 2 for 1 Margaritas is a good deal!
